We aim to collect the minimum data needed to provide the Service:

Account data: email address (required for paid plans and customer portal access)
Content: the git logs and diffs you paste into the tool, and the changelogs generated
Billing data: processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
Usage data: aggregated analytics (page views, feature usage) via privacy-friendly analytics

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Respond to support requests
Detect and prevent abuse or fraud

3. Data Retention

Generated changelogs on the Free tier are retained for 30 days. Paid accounts retain data for as long as the subscription is active. Account data is retained until you request deletion. You may request data deletion at any time by emailing support@appsnap.co.uk.

4. Payment Processing

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card information never touches our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data and is available at stripe.com/privacy.

5. Cookies

We use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies to identify individuals. We do not sell or share data with advertising networks.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact support@appsnap.co.uk.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
