1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReleaseCast ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

ReleaseCast is a tool that converts git commit logs, commit ranges, or pull request diffs into categorized changelogs in markdown, HTML, or ready-to-publish format. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with paid tiers for additional features.

3. Accounts & Subscriptions

You may use the Free tier without registering. Paid plans (Pro at $9/month and Lifetime Dev at $49 one-time) are processed via Stripe. A 7-day free trial may be offered on the Pro plan. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled through the customer portal.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Submit content that infringes the intellectual property of others
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
Resell or sublicense access without written permission

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all commit logs, diffs, and generated changelogs you submit or create. We claim no ownership over your content. The Service itself, including its design and branding, is the property of ReleaseCast.

6. Refunds

Lifetime Dev purchases are eligible for a full refund within 14 days if the Service has not been used. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable but can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the billing period.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated changelogs will be free of errors, and you are responsible for reviewing output before publishing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReleaseCast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
